Joel Kindberg
is the planting pastor/elder of Grace Covenant Church. Joel joined Grace Community Church's staff in January 2014 as an associate pastor being equipped for church planting. Joel grew up in Apple Valley, Minnesota and upon graduating high school moved to Abilene, TX to attend Abilene Christian University. Joel met Jane while attending ACU and they were married in 2002. Joel and Jane had previously served in youth ministry in New Mexico, Oregon, and in Texas as resident parents at North Central Texas Academy. Joel completed his Master's of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX in 2014. God has blessed them with four children, Braylin, Camden, Piper, and Hazel.
Dennis Fowler
Dennis is a native North Texan and is married to his high school sweetheart, Julie. Together, they have been blessed with two adult children, a son-in-law, and one precious granddaughter. The Fowler family has called Grace Covenant Church home since 2017, when the Lord brought them to Weatherford.
Dennis and Julie both serve as teachers at a local Christian school, where Dennis teaches Bible and Apologetics and coaches varsity girls basketball. After serving as a care group leader, Dennis was called by the Lord to serve as an elder at Grace Covenant Church in April 2021.
Dennis and Julie love Grace Covenant Church for its unwavering commitment to the faithful teaching of God’s Word and its desire to live out that truth together as a church family. Through seasons of both joy and trials of various kinds, they have seen the faithfulness of God and experienced His grace through the love and care of their church family.
Outside of church and school, Dennis enjoys spending time with his family, working out, and pursuing his love for classic cars.
