Joel Kindberg
is the planting pastor/elder of Grace Covenant Church. Joel joined Grace Community Church's staff in January 2014 as an associate pastor being equipped for church planting. Joel grew up in Apple Valley, Minnesota and upon graduating high school moved to Abilene, TX to attend Abilene Christian University. Joel met Jane while attending ACU and they were married in 2002. Joel and Jane had previously served in youth ministry in New Mexico, Oregon, and in Texas as resident parents at North Central Texas Academy. Joel completed his Master's of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX in 2014. God has blessed them with four children, Braylin, Camden, Piper, and Hazel.
Dennis Fowler
Dennis, a native North Texan, is married to his wife and high school sweetheart, Julie, and they have two adult children, Madison and Jaxon. Grace Covenant Church has been their church home since 2017 when the Lord relocated them to Weatherford from Godley, Texas. As a Bible teacher and varsity basketball coach at a local Christian school, the Lord directed Dennis’ steps, raising him up to the office of elder in April 2021. In 2023, the Lord called him to the vocational ministry at GCC where he serves as our Pastor of Connections and Assimilation. He received his undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University and is currently pursuing further equipping in biblical counseling.
